Review draft: confirm these terms against the final order form, subscription agreement and data processing arrangements. Service liability, termination and commercial provisions need to match those agreements before publication.
1. About us
Awaab Comply Limited
Registered in England and Wales, company number 16699916.
Registered office: 45 Albemarle Street, London, England, W1S 4JL.
Email: [email protected].
2. Scope of these terms
These terms explain the basis on which you may use the Awaab Comply website. Access to a paid inspection service, subscriptions, support and processing of case data are subject to the applicable order form, service agreement and data processing terms agreed with your organisation.
If those documents contain service-specific provisions, the agreed contract governs that service. Contact us if you need a copy or clarification before proceeding.
3. What Awaab Comply does
Awaab Comply supports housing condition investigations through guided evidence capture and report generation. It can bring observations, photographs and measurements into structured outputs, including AI-assisted summaries.
The app supports the inspection and reporting process. It does not replace competent assessment, specialist advice, professional judgement or the organisation’s responsibility for lawful and timely action. Reports and AI-assisted content must be checked by the responsible professional before issue or reliance.
4. Website information
Website material is general information about our services and housing investigation practice. It is not a substitute for advice on a particular property, hazard or legal issue. Regulatory information should be read alongside the applicable regulations and current official guidance.
We may update the website and take reasonable steps to keep it accurate, but do not promise that every item will always be complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
5. Accounts and access
Where an account is provided, you and your organisation are responsible for keeping credentials confidential, ensuring that only authorised people use the account and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access. Follow the access and security provisions in your service agreement.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or service, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful content, interfere with operation or security, or use it in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Do not submit sensitive resident information through a general website enquiry form. Use the information-handling arrangements agreed for the service.
7. Fees and payment
Fees, payment dates, scope, support, contract length and cancellation arrangements are agreed separately in the applicable quotation, order form or service agreement. Website descriptions do not replace those commercial terms.
8. Intellectual property
We own or license the intellectual property used on the website and in the service. You may use material as permitted by law or by the agreement applicable to your organisation. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or create derivative works from the service except where legally permitted or agreed in writing.
9. Third-party services and links
The website may link to third-party sites or offer optional features, including YouTube and the readiness Scorecard. Those providers have their own terms and privacy information. A link does not mean that we control or endorse all material on that site.
10. Availability and liability
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or uninterrupted. Service availability, support commitments and service-specific liability provisions are governed by the relevant agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Any agreed service limitations must be read in the context of the signed contract and applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security issue or a breach of the applicable agreement. Service suspension, termination and cancellation provisions are set out in the agreement governing that service.
12. Data protection
Read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for website information. The applicable data processing terms govern processing carried out as part of a contracted service.
13. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any rights that apply by law. The applicable service agreement should be consulted for its governing-law and dispute provisions.
14. Contact and updates
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. We may revise the website terms, with the date above identifying the version.
